Operating in fields such as finance, healthcare, energy, tourism, logistics and education in Türkiye requires a permit, licence or competence certificate from the regulator. In these processes it is not enough for the company merely to exist: the articles of association may need to contain specific wording, shares may have to be registered in name, capital may have to be paid in cash, or directors may have to meet particular professional conditions.
