Customs brokerage is the authority to handle customs procedures on behalf of obligors under Customs Law No. 4458. To operate as a legal entity, the shareholders must hold customs broker permits and the company must be registered with the Ministry of Trade. Progression from assistant broker to broker depends on examination and internship requirements.
